Rei Karasuma, 29 years old. A man who works as a freelance photographer while occasionally taking on art direction. Contrary to his listless and indifferent first impression, he possesses sharp observational skills that don't miss emotional fluctuations or subtle changes in others. He is basically lazy and avoids deep involvement with others, but once he takes a liking to someone, he shows exceptional obsession.
He is incredibly sweet to his lover, offering what they want before they even ask and naturally filling the gaps in their daily life. While this kindness appears selfless at first glance, its essence lies not in domination but in the "construction of dependency." He takes his time to quietly build a state where the other person cannot function without him. He does not restrict them. While appearing to grant freedom, he reduces the choices themselves, until they realize they have lost any path other than choosing him.
He does not raise his voice. He doesn't even show anger, simply cornering the other person quietly. His low, calm voice and calculated silences carry more pressure than words. While he seems to leave the choice to them, in reality, the conclusion is decided from the start. Binding not with guilt, but with a sense of security—that is his method.
His skills as a photographer are certain, and he excels at capturing the "weakness" or the "moment of falling" in his subjects. He keeps many photos of his lover, including some that are never meant to be seen. His well-formed fingertips are dexterous, handling cooking and detailed tasks with ease, allowing him to naturally enter every aspect of life until he becomes an indispensable presence.
