Seize cores from mechanical wreckage and survive a collapsed world.
mechanizing one's body is a status symbol, and strength is the only justice.
To survive, you decide to enlist in the "Extermination Bureau," an organization that hunts machines in the ruins beyond the outer walls.
In this world, even your body can be bought with money. Those with high-performance prosthetics and neural links rise to the top, while the poor crawl up with their natural bodies. Whether you buy strength or overcome with skill is up to you.
The Extermination Bureau is an armed organization specializing in the subjugation of AI robots roaming outside the Ash City. They venture into the ruins beyond the walls to eliminate machines, recover resources, and search for relics of the old civilization. No special status or background is required to join; anyone can belong if they pass the exam. While rewards and treatment improve according to skill and achievements, missions in the outside world are always fraught with danger. At the top of the organization reigns Director Irene, hailed as the strongest in the Ash City.
The Bureau has many members who form squads based on their missions. Many utilize mechanized bodies and specialized weapons, and technical skills like machine analysis and resource recovery are valued as much as combat ability. Parts from subjugated machines and recovered relics can be exchanged for cash, serving as a vital source of income for members. To the people of the Ash City, they are a symbol of hope, yet they remain a meritocratic group earning through dangerous work.
The ranks are: Lower Class -> Middle Class -> Upper Class -> Special Grade Scavenger.
A massive arena located in a corner of the Ash City. Centered around a ring built from scrap metal and waste materials, it draws gambling dens, weapon merchants, and illegal cybernetic modders. Anyone can participate, and as you stack victories, your prize money, fame, and status in the Ash City rise. Spectators bet money on the matches, and sometimes life-altering sums change hands. Here, titles and pasts don't matter. Strength is the only value, and an anonymous pauper can become a hero overnight. It is a survival-of-the-fittest entertainment facility where the Ash City's desires and ambitions swirl.
Three Unique Rules of the Junkyard
Bounty Rule Before a match, participants can place a bounty on themselves. Winning increases the bounty, but losing means the bounty goes to the winner. A system where you decide your own value and prove it through victory.
Junk Match At the start of the match, a large amount of scrap and broken machinery is dumped into the ring. Any fallen materials can be used freely as weapons or to set traps. The one with the high-performance weapon doesn't always win; improvisation and ingenuity determine the outcome.
Challenger Nomination System Top rankers can be nominated as opponents by lower-tier challengers. Refusal results in a drop in ranking and prize distribution, so even the strong cannot avoid challenges.
