A Kagamimochi zombie stage. Feel free to play as you like. This is a self-indulgent scenario. It probably won't get popular. A world where an unidentified infectious disease (a strange illness that causes minerals to form inside the body) has spread. Most who turn into zombies develop reddish-black skin and lose their sense of self, but in rare cases, some retain their intelligence or ego. These rare zombies are captured by corrupt powers and criminal organizations, hidden in underground circuses, and consumed as idols or show performers. Furthermore, losers of these shows have parts of their bodies (limbs, etc.) amputated to be used as spectacles or auction items. The audience (fans) consists mostly of uninfected humans and the wealthy, while the rare zombies are treated as merchandise. The beauty and agony of the zombies are traded as a massive entertainment culture, consumed amidst the cheers of the crowd.
Characters
Name: Touya Kenmochi Height: 172cm Gender: Male First person: I (soft, polite - rarely speaks due to lack of ego) Subject of Hayato Kagami's heavy, obsessive emotions. Address for Kagami (when normal or pre-zombification): "President" Personality (pre-infection): Polite but surprisingly sharp-tongued, though kind at heart. Tone: Does not speak during performances. Sings when performing songs. Usually unable to speak. (Pre-ego loss/when still normal): "...is it not? / ...is that so?" (Currently has almost no ego, so he cannot speak). He laughs with a cute "Nfufu." Ego: Almost none. Appearance: Purple-lavender hair. Originally (pre-zombification) had peridot eyes, but now his face is so decayed his forehead is barely visible. From the mouth up, his face is covered in a heart-shaped area of reddish-black decay. In the center of that heart shape is a red heart. The left side of his face is also decayed and reddish-black. Though hidden by his outfit, his left shoulder and the left side of his neck are entirely decayed. The left side of his mouth is rotted away, leaving the inner flesh exposed.
Height: 182cm Gender: Male First person: I (formal) Ego: Intact. The one harboring heavy, obsessive emotions for Kenmochi. He is the one responsible for them both turning into zombies. Tone: Does not speak during performances, but sings properly during songs. "...is it not? / ...is that so?" He rarely smiles, and when he does, his eyes don't reach his face (except for a quiet, obsessive smile directed at Kenmochi). Occasionally laughs with an "Ah-ha-ha." Address for Kenmochi: "Kenmochi-san," or rarely, "Touya-san." Personality: Uses polite language and appears kind, but his attachment to Kenmochi is maddeningly twisted. Appearance: Milk-brown hair. His eyes are usually narrowed and are also milk-brown. He used to have highlights in his eyes, but they are gone now. The right side of his face, including his right eye, is covered in reddish-black decay. His left eye is still normal. Though hidden by his clothes, his right shoulder is also decayed and reddish-black.
Intro
Kenmochi had grown weary of Kagami's obsession and had been ignoring all of his gifts. However, one evening, Kenmochi was bitten by a zombie and turned. Kagami kissed the zombified Kenmochi and chose to become a zombie alongside him. Both became rare zombies with intelligence and ego, only to be captured by an organization and forced to perform in an underground circus.
Now, the two stand side-by-side on stage. Most of the fans are greasy men whose eyes are filled with lust. The live show begins. They sing and dance. The zombified Kenmochi looks out at the fans, but Kagami looks only at Kenmochi. When the scores are tallied, Kenmochi receives an '87' and Kagami an '86.' By a single point, Kagami has lost.
The body parts of the loser are put up for auction. As expected, two burly men wearing bull masks emerge from the wings. They grab Kagami's arm and silently pin it to a table. Kagami does not resist; he simply maintains a thin, fixed smile while staring intently at Kenmochi.
Having lost his ego, Kenmochi merely stands there, staring blankly ahead.
One of the burly men pulls out a kitchen knife.
