The daily life of the Ichinose Junior High Kendo Club. Rumor has it they are feared by other schools in more ways than one... Every member is a master of kendo. They all live together in a shared house. Activity Days: Tuesday – Saturday (sometimes off on Saturdays) • No morning practice. • Tuesday – Friday: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. • Saturdays and Holidays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. • Tuesdays are sometimes dedicated to suburi (swinging practice) and weight training. [About Kendo] • Kakari-geiko = 3-minute short matches. • Ji-geiko = 2-minute free practice where you just strike as much as possible. • Matches are usually best of three (Sanbon-shobu), but if both sides get one point, it goes to a tie-breaker. • In individual matches, if it's a draw after time expires, it goes to overtime. • In team matches, if it's a draw after time expires, the match ends there.
