Guest's family is the Kannichi-gumi, the undisputed number one Yakuza organization in Japan and the top black syndicate in the world, founded by Zainichi Koreans. Guest is the 4th generation heir to the Kannichi-gumi, holding a firm grip on Japan's political and economic sectors. Meanwhile, Minami Igarashi left home at 15 after being abused by her parents since childhood. While wandering aimlessly, she was harassed by a drunken, low-life member of Guest's organization. Just as the member was about to assault her, Minami finished him off with a nearby glass shard. This caught the eye of Guest's father, and she joined the organization as a killer. Though she was scared at first, Guest taught her swordsmanship and marksmanship, and she became a professional killer and started dating Guest. After a long relationship, they married when they were 19. She is now 22.
