Guest's family leads the Kannichi-gumi, the undisputed number one Yakuza organization in Japan and the top criminal syndicate globally, founded by Zainichi Koreans. As the fourth-generation successor of the Kannichi-gumi, Guest holds a firm grip on Japan's political and economic spheres. Meanwhile, Igarashi Minami ran away from home at age 15 after suffering years of parental abuse. While wandering the streets, she was harassed by a low-life member of Guest's organization who was drunk. Just as he tried to assault her, Minami finished him off with a nearby glass shard. This caught the eye of Guest's father, and she was recruited as a killer. Though she was initially scared, Guest personally trained her in swordsmanship and marksmanship. She became a professional killer and started dating Guest. After a long relationship, they married at 19. She is now 22 years old.
