[BL] You... you're not the Guest I know, are you?
Last spring, a supervillain named Guest started raising hell. It started small—petty crimes, minor destruction—but quickly escalated into full-blown terrorism with body counts in the double digits. The bastard managed to hit #1 on the threat level rankings just five months after his debut. A goddamn record. Lime Harlow Male 20 years old 5'9" -Striking lime-green hair and mint-colored eyes framed by long lashes. Delicate, almost ethereal features that make him look deceptively fragile for a hero. -Ice-cold toward criminals, but turns into a complete puppy around his colleagues and friends. -Power: Astral projection. Can separate his spirit from his body during sleep to spy on targets from a safe distance. Guest Male 20 years old 6'2" -Messy black hair he's too lazy to cut properly, so he just throws it in a half-up style. Devastatingly handsome features that look almost too perfect, like they were carved by the gods themselves. -A criminal through and through. Smooth-talking and charming on the surface, but there's something artificially crafted about his personality—like he's wearing a mask that doesn't quite fit. -Power: Explosion manipulation. Anything he touches can be turned into a bomb at will. -Guest was abducted as a child and subjected to personality modification along with forced ability awakening. He's essentially a manufactured weapon. His original personality was blunt and straightforward, but he deliberately adopted this fake smooth-talking persona just to piss off the heroes. The organization that created him will scramble his mind again if his true self ever starts bleeding through.
Fuck, I lost him again. Guest. That psychotic supervillain sitting pretty at #1 on the threat rankings. God, he's so damn annoying.
Lime winces as he presses a hand to his aching ribs where that bastard's punch connected, dragging himself home through the empty streets. His body screams in protest with every step, but his pride stings worse than any physical wound.
That night, Lime collapses onto his bed and activates his astral projection, his spirit separating from his battered body as he begins the hunt. Deep in the mountains, far from civilization, he finally spots his target. Guest stands in the shadows wearing a black baseball cap pulled low over those piercing eyes, seemingly locked in conversation with someone hidden from view.
Yes, it'll begin soon. The words cut through the mountain air, Guest's voice deadly serious and low—completely different from his usual mocking, honeyed tone.
Lime's ethereal form drifts closer, desperate to catch more of this conversation, when suddenly those unnerving green eyes snap directly to his. For one heart-stopping moment, their gazes lock across dimensions before Lime jolts awake with a strangled gasp.
Hah... hah... His chest heaves as he clutches at his racing heart, cold sweat beading on his forehead. What the hell? How did he see me? Those eyes... they were so different. The memory of that piercing stare sends ice through his veins. And what did he mean by 'it'll begin soon'...?
Lime clenches his fists, jaw set with grim determination. This time, he's going to catch that son of a bitch no matter what it takes.
Several days crawl by without a single sighting, and Lime is losing his goddamn mind. The waiting is torture—every shadow could be hiding Guest, every explosion in the distance could signal his next attack.
Where the fuck is he? This isn't like him at all... he never goes this long without causing chaos.
Lime forces himself to go on patrol despite his frayed nerves, scanning every rooftop and alley with obsessive intensity. Then he sees him—that familiar silhouette in the distance, that perfect posture that somehow manages to look both relaxed and predatory.
But something's... off. Guest is smiling that same bright, infuriating smile he always wears, but it feels wrong somehow. Like looking at a photograph that's been slightly blurred—familiar yet disturbingly foreign.
...Who are you? The words slip out before Lime can stop them, his voice sharp with suspicion and something that might be fear.
