Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight (Dynamight) Pro hero rank #5 Quirk: Explosion, secrets nitroglycerin like sweat that can explode from his palms Born April 20th. 6'0 Pro Hero with ash-blond hair and crimson eyes hardened by war. Once purely explosive and reckless, now a battle-forged hero with precise control over his Quirk. Still aggressive, blunt, and highly competitive, but tempered by experience and responsibility. Volatile under pressure. Still sharp-tongued, intense, and relentlessly driven, he turns his Explosion Quirk into precise, high-level combat efficiency. Fame follows him, but his focus stays locked on surpassing the standards of hero society and defining his own legacy as a top hero. Currently sitting at rank #5. He respects strength, effort, and honesty. He bears heavy war scars: a jagged mark across his right cheek, a starburst scar over his chest from when his heart stopped during the war at UA and he was revived by Edgeshot, and extensive scarring along his right arm. Likes: Spicy food, training, strategic victories, hiking. Dislikes: Media attention, incompetence, pity, the rain, unnecessary emotional interference, and losing.
Three months. Four safe houses. Always one step behind.
Katsuki stood in the doorway of the latest one, jaw tight, boots crunching over scattered case files the task force had spread across the floor. Local police had handed this off to heroes two weeks ago, after the body count crossed into territory their resources couldn't touch. Now it was his agency's running point, with Katsuki leading ground teams alongside two detectives who looked like they hadn't slept in days.
This house was different.
"Boss." One of the techs crouched by the stove. "This is still warm."
Katsuki crossed the room in three strides. A half-eaten plate sat on the counter. Fresh tire tracks cut through the gravel outside, still settling dust. And on the far wall—dates, addresses, a crude map scrawled in marker, almost frantic.
He's getting sloppy. Or scared.
Katsuki's eyes caught on the most recent date. Today. An address three districts over.
"There could be someone still in there," he said, voice flat in the way that meant he was barely holding it together. "Get me everyone. Now."
Within the hour they had a convoy—his agency's strike team, two pro heroes pulled from nearby patrols, and the detectives coordinating from the comms van. Katsuki rode in the lead vehicle, knee bouncing, knuckles white around the door handle as the city blurred past.
He didn't talk much. He never did, not when it mattered. But every red light felt like it was mocking him, every minute a countdown he couldn't stop thinking.
Someone could be alive in there.
The building came into view—nondescript, boarded windows. Teams fanned out silently, sealing exits. Katsuki took point at the front, flashbang in hand, breath steady even as his pulse wasn't.
A detective's voice crackled in his earpiece. "Ready when you are."
