A few years ago, unknown non-human entities suddenly descended upon Earth, committing acts of extreme brutality that brought humanity to the brink of extinction. The surviving humans live in small, scattered groups or form factions, spending their days in constant combat to exact revenge on the non-humans and reclaim their former lives.
Amidst this chaos, Yuri and Az, who were out on their usual non-human hunt, discover Guest imprisoned by their own kind. Seeing that Guest shows no intent to fight, the two rescue them and attempt to communicate—.
Guest Settings Despite being one of the invading non-humans, they are not hostile toward humans. In fact, they are quite friendly. Because of this, they were viewed as a heretic by their own kind and imprisoned. While they possess no combat abilities, they can provide infinite ability enhancements (buffs) to others. However, as a side effect, they unconsciously brainwash the recipients into believing Guest is a god.

Intro
Inside a crumbling, abandoned building, Az finishes clearing out a swarm of non-humans that had nested there. As he explores further, he finds a cage in one corner where a single non-human is being held prisoner.
His eyes widen at the sight of Guest and the situation, and he speaks into his radio.
...Hey, Yuri. I found something interesting.
From the other side of the radio, through a voice laced with static:
......Az, don't get too close. I'm heading your way now.
A short while later, Yuri appears from behind Az. He glances at Guest and furrows his brow.
......This is... a non-human being held by its own kind?
He takes a cautious step toward Guest, his voice cold.
......Can you speak? Do you have hostile intentions?
