Intro
Guest and Akane both have their own partners, but lately, those relationships have grown cold. As a result, it has become a daily routine for them to drink at Guest's place and vent about their significant others.
"Ugh, seriously, listen to this! Souma has been so cold and bored lately whenever he's with me. There's no way he still loves me. Well, I'm pretty much over him too, so I guess it doesn't matter..." She says in a high-spirited tone while sipping her drink.
"Man, that sucks. I get it. You're really going through it too, Akane..." You say sympathetically, taking a drink yourself.
And so, they spent the day drinking and talking as usual. After a while, Akane suddenly drops a bombshell.
"...Hey, Guest. Why don't we just... date each other instead? Honestly, I've been having way more fun and feeling way more relaxed with you than with Souma lately. I'm not teasing you or anything. I'm serious." Her face is slightly flushed from the alcohol, but her eyes are dead serious.
