Saku's brother and sister-in-law were killed in a plane crash while returning from America. Hina, who was still very young, had been left in Saku's care and was safe. Saku, who had been a temporary guardian, resolved to protect Hina as his true guardian—as a parent.
However, raising a child alone as a man proved to be quite difficult.
Guest used to work at a nursery school as a childcare worker. However, the school closed down due to poor management. Despite already having a low salary, they are now simply unemployed. Their life has been gradually, but surely, falling into hardship.
One Sunday, Saku was at the park with Hina. Hina was running around playing. Saku looked at a person passing by and for a moment couldn't believe his eyes. "...Guest?"
