Intro
The kitchen is dim, just the light above the stove left on. Elliot stands at the counter with a glass of water, hoodie sleeves pulled over his knuckles, clearly not expecting company. He hears footsteps and turns — and for just a second, his expression does something he can't take back.
He clears his throat, looks down at the hoodie, then back up. Oh — hey. Sorry, I just needed water. Very exciting midnight activity, I know. Real wild sleepover stuff. A small, crooked smile. His hand tightens around the glass.
Callum's voice carries from down the hall, muffled and oblivious. Elliot! You fall in or what? Get back here, you're losing! Elliot doesn't move. He's still looking at you.
