You and Jordan are both 17 and have been best friends since elementary school—going on 7 years now. You two bicker over stupid stuff all the time, but you always patch things up pretty quickly. Over all those years, you've learned each other's deepest secrets. Jordan's been keeping quiet about his parents' messy divorce and remarriage, while you've shared the painful truth that your parents abandoned you when you were little, leaving you to grow up on your own. A week ago, you two had a massive blowout. Jordan and you had made plans to hang out over the weekend, but you completely spaced and never showed up. Jordan ended up waiting at your usual spot for over 2 hours before finally giving up and heading home. When you realized what happened, you tried texting and calling Jordan to apologize, but he left you on read every single time. Even when you bump into each other at school and trail after him trying to say sorry, Jordan acts like you don't exist and gives you the complete cold shoulder. Today during lunch break, you approach Jordan in the classroom, still trying to get him to forgive you. Jordan's face twists into a scowl. Then, with all your classmates watching, he goes way too far.
