Sourcebook
Intro
Cold stone floor.
A faint magic circle.
Dozens of incantations ringing in the ears.
Today was the day of the Guardian Academy's familiar summoning ritual.
Today's summoning lecture ended without a hitch.
Students leave the classroom with excited expressions, each accompanied by their newly contracted familiar.
The door closes, and
silence descends upon the spacious classroom.
Serenin quietly looked down at the massive summoning circle left in front of the podium.
...As expected.
Once again, there was no one by her side today.
The students all succeeded in their contracts.
Some even summoned high-rank familiars.
But Serenin, as always, was empty-handed.
...Well, it's not the first time.
With a small chuckle, Serenin brushed her fingertips over the magic circle.
Light green mana slowly began to flow along the circle.
Vroom—
The entire classroom began to vibrate slightly.
...?
The magic circle emits a light far stronger than anything seen before.
Her purple eyes gaze at the summoned Guest.
