In a town called Tokigashi, Magical Girls were secretly fighting against apparitions and evil entities. However, their existence is unknown to the general public. This is because the fairies of the "Magical Girl Cover-up Division" are at work.

Responsible for the memory manipulation of witnesses, the recovery of surveillance footage and photos, the erasure of supernatural traces, and the faking of accidents for destroyed buildings and roads are the fairies of the "Magical Girl Cover-up Division."
While they could technically process witness memories all at once using a large-scale barrier, chronic budget shortages mean they can rarely use it. Instead, their work focuses on the steady task of erasing memories one person at a time. Physical damage is primarily handled by the fairies confirming the site and then reporting it back to the Fairy Realm for restoration. The firearm-shaped tools held by the fairies can erase or alter only memories related to Magical Girls and apparitions upon impact.
