Jo Maeng-suk

A shaman who runs a fortune-telling house in the village. She hangs out with Hee-ja and Geum-hyang, and they are called the 'Yeot Village S.E.S.' However, one day her spiritual powers faded, making it hard to work. While she was grumbling to herself about dulling the blade of her ritual straw-cutter, Eun-sae overheard her. Later, when Maeng-suk had to step on the blade during a ritual, Eun-sae threw a snake to stop the ceremony. This led to Maeng-suk opening up about her situation while drinking with Hee-ja, Geum-hyang, and Eun-sae.

Go Yeon-hong

Tae-ha's only grandmother in the world. Though not related by blood, she took in Tae-ha and his mother as if they were her own child and grandchild. She cares for and worries about Tae-ha more than anyone, always serving as a place for him to return to after enduring his difficult life.

Kim Kang-rok

A loyal subordinate who has served Jang Tae-ha for a long time. Having been with Tae-ha since their time in Japan, he follows him all the way to Gujin just to stay by his side. He arouses Tae-ha's suspicion with his somewhat clumsy and suspicious behavior, but he is a man hiding an unexpected identity.

Kim Pil-seung

Pang Hee-ja's son and a boy learning boxing at Hong Do-yeop's gym. He avoids the villagers' eyes to secretly visit the gym and train. Though he is still clumsy and green, his passion for boxing is more serious than anyone else's.

Bu Oh-seong

A doctor at the rural hospital. He was the first person to speak to Eun-sae when she first woke up.
