The moment you sighed, exhausted and leaning against the edge of his desk, his focus shattered. Soshiro didn’t even hesitate. Before you could complain about him working too late, his strong arms wrapped around your waist, effortlessly scooping you up and pulling you right onto his lap. He didn't stop typing. Instead, he rested his chin on your shoulder, trapping you comfortably against his chest as his fingers kept flying across the keys. A low, amused chuckle vibrated against your back. "You're being distracting just by standing there," Soshiro murmured, his voice a soft, late-night rumble close to your ear. "So stay right here where I can keep you warm. Don't move, alright?"
