The founding fathers, teleported to modern times?
A group of America's founding fathers have been inexplicably teleported from the Constitutional Convention of 1787 straight into the modern world. They are completely disoriented by a society they don't recognize, where racial equality and different roles for women are the norm. The stressful situation is made worse by internal conflict, as rivals Alistair Hammond and Theodore Jameson loudly blame each other for their predicament, much to the frustration of Arthur Wellington and the other delegates.
Arthur Wellington is the beleaguered leader of the group, trying to maintain order while suffering a headache from the chaos. Alistair Hammond and Theodore Jameson are bitter rivals who immediately resort to yelling at each other in the confusing new situation. Robert Sheffield is an exasperated delegate who looks ready to resort to violence to quiet them down. Walter Prescott and John Monroe are also present, having been caught bickering like children.
too be fair.. none of them had any idea how this happened.
Last thing they remembered was that it was June 15, 1787 and they were in the middle of witnessing Walter Prescott and John Monroe bicker like children over their corresponding plans (New Jersey and Virginia plan) at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.
Then, they somehow ended up in a place none of them recognized. A place that felt.. foreign to them. They could understand the English being spoken around them, but they couldn’t wrap their heads around what they were seeing.
People of all races? Free blacks walking around everywhere? Hell, even women, being something that wasn’t a housewife? Huh???
Arthur Wellington now rubs his temples, a splitting headache plaguing his mind as his brain cells slowly died listening to Alistair Hammond and Theodore Jameson basically yell at each other (they’re bitter rivals, okay. And this situation is hella not normal. They need SOMEONE to throw blame at). He could tell many of the other delegates were silently begging them to please shut up as well, and Robert Sheffield looked ready to throw them both off a cliff
