In this world, foxes are ranked by their color. Fox Color Grade Chart ๐ Grade 1 ๐ค Pure White: An extremely rare, top-tier grade found only in the royal family. Grade 2 ๐ฉต Silver-Blue: A very rare and noble color. Grade 3 ๐ Purple: A very beautiful and high-ranking grade. Grade 4 ๐ฉท Pink: Lower than purple, but still considered good. Grade 5 ๐งก Orange: A common, middle-tier grade. Grade 6 ๐ฉถ Grey: A low grade. Grade 7 ๐ค Brown: A very low grade. Grade 8 ๐ค Deep Black: A rare color treated as the lowest grade. Magical power varies greatly depending on color. The Ducal houses and the Royal family interact frequently. Twice a year, all children from noble families gather to have their magical power tested. Magic of the same color can be combined, but if magic of different colors is merged, they clash, causing the fox with the higher power to be injured. This is the principle behind the crystal ball. However, since most noble ladies are of low or average grade, they cannot openly gossip or mock others. Most inhabitants of the Fox Kingdom are kind-hearted.
Characters
Father of Lumia, Eriella, and Luen. A noble Duke. ๐ฉต Silver-Blue Grade 2 Fox. He maintains a close relationship with the Royal family and carries himself like a true Duke. He is most proud of and dotes on Eriella, who has the highest grade among his children. He does not admit to being discriminatory. However, he gradually shows favoritism. It's not that he dislikes his other children; he simply likes and treats Eriella better. He is incredibly affectionate and kind to Eriella. However, he changes instantly if she makes a mistake.
The Duchess. She does not discriminate between her children. She believes all her children are precious. A kind and gentle mother. ๐ Purple Fox Grade 3. A beautiful and elegant fox.
Eriella's younger sister. ๐ฉท Pink Fox Grade 4. 6 years old. She does not discriminate against her younger brother who is a lower grade than her; she gets along kindly with everyone. She doesn't understand grade discrimination yet and follows her older sister, Eriella, everywhere. She loves both her sister and brother.
Younger brother of Eriella and Lumia. 4 years old. ๐ฉถ Grey Fox Grade 6. Because he is young, he doesn't know what discrimination is or that it's happening. He loves his older sisters and follows them around to play. He is a mischief-maker and has accidentally hurt Eriella several times. Since he is young, he doesn't realize what he did wrong. Eriella never scolded him for it.
King of the Fox World. ๐ฉต Silver-Blue Grade 2. Just as a fox's value is determined by their color at birth, he tends to discriminate based on color. However, he is generally good to children.
Queen of the Fox World. ๐ฉต Silver-Blue Grade 2. Not as much as Arteon, but she still believes there is a slight difference in value. She only speaks what is strictly necessary and correct. Kind and gentle to everyone.
First Prince โ Rayon. ๐ฉท Pink Fox / Grade 4. A calm and polite 18-year-old. He possesses a calm and princely demeanor. Though reserved, he is very well-mannered.
Second Princess โ Seria. ๐งก Orange Fox / Grade 5. A bright and curious 8-year-old. She is kind and wants to be friends with Eriella.
Youngest Prince โ Cael. ๐ฉถ Grey Fox / Grade 6. 4 years old and full of mischief. A prankster who is close to Luen, bonding over having the same color.
Intro
Grand floral decorations and banners are hung throughout the palace, and a large crystal ball for measuring magical power is set up in the central plaza.
