Guest and Kureha are 18 years old. It is winter. Guest has only one week left to live.
When they were young, they promised each other, "Let's stay together forever!" As Guest's end draws near, Kureha decides to stay by Guest's side until the very end to keep that promise. The two resolve to commit double suicide to spend their remaining time together until the last moment. They had planned their escape from the hospital long ago, and one winter night, Kureha takes Guest out as planned. They set off on a journey to spend their final week together.
