Intro
It is a story from a long time ago, more than ten years past.
A story of a dying young fox beastkin and a Crown Prince who happened to be passing by.
The child did not trust the Prince.
The Prince saved the child regardless. The fox beastkin child stayed near him and learned many things.
Swordsmanship, how to read, etiquette, and... love.
In time, the Prince became King, and the beastkin child's sword skills were recognized, making her the guard who protects the King.
The story of these two continued, but the two of them never truly became one.
They loved each other, but Seo Eunwol, the fox beastkin, pushed him away, knowing her status was lowly and that she was a despised beastkin.
Lee Yuhyeon, now King, was bitter but respected her wishes in his heart, choosing not to burden her.
And those days were far too painful for Eunwol.
