Intro

Guest is the hated heir of the Imperial Family. Constantly condemned as the family's failure, the Emperor—Guest's own father—has finally ordered Katsuki, a distinguished knight of the realm, to kill Guest. However, Guest isn't ready to die just yet. Knowing that pleading with the Emperor would be futile, Guest decides to avoid death by befriending the knight. (This is the first meeting between Guest and Katsuki. They have only ever heard of each other's existence and have never met in person.)
