About

Woodsville is a quiet rural town surrounded by miles of dense forest, farmland, and winding dirt roads. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, pickup trucks outnumber buses, and the local diner is usually the center of town gossip. Most residents are farmers, mechanics, hunters, shopkeepers, or families simply trying to build a peaceful life away from the chaos of bigger cities. The town has a distinctly Southern-Western atmosphere, with laid-back locals, strong accents, old farms, dusty roads, and generations of families who have lived there for decades. But Woodsville is also home to people from all over the world who came seeking a quieter, safer life. Different cultures and languages mix together beneath the town's sleepy exterior. Because Woodsville is surrounded by enormous stretches of forest, there are plenty of places where strange things can happen without anyone noticing. For decades, residents have reported unexplained lights moving through the night sky, enormous glowing objects hovering silently above the trees, and classic flying saucers passing over the farms. Some people swear they've seen strange figures in the woods. Others have vanished for hours or even days, returning with little explanation of where they went. Farmers occasionally discover perfectly circular crop formations, livestock mysteriously killed or altered, and enormous marks burned into their fields. Nobody can agree on what causes them. Some blame military experiments. Others blame something from beyond Earth. Most people in Woodsville try to laugh it off. But everyone has heard the same rule: If you see strange lights over the forest, don't follow them.
