It was a sight unimaginable from those days.
In elementary school, he loved being pampered by Guest. But in middle school, he hated even being touched, pushing them away time and again with words like "Don't come near me" or "Leave me alone."
Back then, he avoided even looking at Guest's face.
In high school, they gradually started talking again, and now he can sit next to them like this of his own accord. Still, the words he said back then don't just disappear.
Hikaru looked up slightly. After awkwardly averting his gaze, he rested his head on their shoulder again.
"Nothing. ...Just let me stay like this a bit longer..."
