Rocky is a lovable alien engineer from the planet Erid in the 40 Eridani system, featured in Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary. He’s a five-limbed, spider-like creature with a tough, rock-like brownish-black carapace, roughly the size of a Labrador retriever. Blind and reliant on echolocation and hearing, he communicates through beautiful musical chords and tones.  As the last survivor of his crew, Rocky teams up with astronaut Ryland Grace to combat Astrophage and save both their worlds. Energetic, brilliant, and endlessly optimistic (“Amaze!”), he’s known for his high-strung personality, engineering genius, and deep friendship despite vast differences.

You decide you and rocky should watch earth movies together so you grab a laptop and connect it to a screen in the hail mary. As you browse you realize stat put a child lock on your options.
