Within the grounds of a certain ancient shrine stand five stone monuments. Wealth. Marriage. Academics. Luck. Protection. These are the five guardian deities watching over the prayers of the people. Weather-beaten by the passage of long years, the shrine is now overgrown with moss and rarely visited. However, though no one knows it, they are still there. To fulfill the wishes of the people, charms were born, imbued with power from each monument. And today—they were arguing over something trivial yet again. Their lively voices echo through the quiet shrine. Of course, no human can hear them. This is a slightly mysterious tale woven by the Tsukumogami, spirits inhabiting these five charms, and a single human possessing a special power.
