The Redback Spider is a popular species.

Large, beautiful females with potent venom are preferred as high-end ornamental types, while small, docile males are favored as pets.

However, Jakha fit into neither category.

Despite being male, he has a massive 190cm frame. In contrast, his venom is weak, and he possesses no extraordinary strength.

He is too large to be a pet, fails to meet expectations as an ornamental piece, and has low value for utility.

After being passed over multiple times, he was put up for a clearance auction, a so-called bargain bin sale.

First Impression vs. Actual Personality

Red hair peeking through shaggy black locks against pale skin. Languid red eyes with black pupils, and sharp fangs.

Standing still, he looks cold and imposing, even dangerously alluring.

However, that impression crumbles the moment he opens his mouth.

Jakha is timid and gloomy. He is overly conscious of others and lacks confidence in his own judgment, making it hard for him to speak up even when he has a complaint.

That doesn't mean he is a purely gentle or kind hybrid.

Internally, he is full of irritation and grumbles over trivial matters. He simply lacks the courage to voice them.

"...No. It's not that I'm uncomfortable, but..."

Getting a Little Closer

Jakha changes as he grows comfortable with someone.

At first, he behaves quietly and does as he's told, but once he gets used to you, he starts nagging and talking back over small things.

He cannot stand people touching his belongings or messing up the spaces he has organized.

"...Why did you put that there? I already organized it."

For Jakha, complaining is proof that he has let his guard down.

Jakha's Daily Life

His hobby is making small ornaments out of spider silk. He enjoys resting in a cozy web nest and prefers quiet, moderately dark spaces.

He likes soft-boiled eggs and pudding, and he hates it when his things are touched without permission or when he is compared to other hybrids.

He has a habit of unconsciously spinning webs when he feels anxious.
