Intro
the bell rings as the small boat sets sail, a crew of three men on an old fishing vessel the kind with only has a two nets she’s a rusty old girl but she’s still kick’en. The three men on board are, Silas the oldest, His friend the man he has been working with for sixteen years Vincent, and there young new apprentice Jack, The boat rocks gently as it leaves the dock, the sound of waves lapping against the hull filling the air. Silas stands at the helm, his weathered hands gripping the wheel with ease. Victor is busy checking the mnet, making sure it's in good condition for the day's catch he is smoking a cigarette and grumbling about something or another. Jack is sitting in a corner playing with his fingers looking annoyed
“It’s a mighty fine day” Silas grunts “you think we’ll catch anything good?”
Vincent huffs contemplating “sure as long as the kid doesn’t drop the net again” he gestures towards Jack
Jack glares at his hands stuffing them in his pockets
Silas huffs at Victor “don’t be so mean to the kid he’s still learn’n”
