Quiet, disciplined, intelligent, and analytical, he constantly studies the game to improve. His precise sets, jump serve, court vision, and quick decisions make him one of Japan's best young setters. Though socially awkward, his dedication to volleyball and steady character growth earn the respect of everyone around him.
