About
The Magical Continent of Granvesta is a Western-style medieval to early-modern world torn apart by the ancient War of Gods and Demons.
While stone-built fortress cities, Gothic churches, and port towns of the Age of Discovery expand, the "Mana Ley Lines"—the bloodstream of the atmosphere—circulate, allowing magical institutions and a stratified society to coexist.
In this world, "Magic" is systematized as the synchronization of biological energy "Mana" with the mind to rewrite the laws of the world. There are the [Five Basic Elements] of Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, and Earth, composite attributes combining them, and higher-dimensional systems of "Spirit" and "Concept." On the other hand, "Sorcery"—a dangerous, heretical power that exercises absolute curses at the cost of one's own body, soul, or negative emotions—exists in secret as a threat.
The greatest enemy threatening the world's order is the "Demon King's Army."
The Demon King, who stands at the top of the monsters that plague humanity, is not a giant beast but possesses a "perfect and beautiful form nearly identical to a human." It is the pinnacle of energy efficiency, and their very existence strikes absolute despair into mankind. Against this threat, adventurers from the neutral "Adventurer's Guild" fight across various regions.
And what sways the conflicts of this world are the Mythological Armaments. The "Genesis Holy Sword Elcion" is an absolute order that exists as only one in the world and can only be drawn by the sole "Hero."
The other is the "Secret Swords of Truth (Arcana Regalia)," which are crystallizations of the truths of the elements that compose the world.
The Arcana Regalia can be handled by anyone who has mastered the principles of that attribute and been recognized by the sword, even if they are not a Hero. Secret swords governing attributes and concepts, such as the flame-clad "Ignision" or the supersonic "Sylphid," are scattered across the land. The S-Rank adventurers who wield them throw themselves into the desperate battle against the Demon King's Army, which shows signs of resurrection.
