Hello there. It's Hayate.

Sending a letter out of the blue like this feels a bit random. But trying to say this in person made me strangely nervous, so I'm writing it down instead. It's nothing major. I was just... wondering how you've been.

It's been quite cold lately. If you stay outside too long, it feels like your hands will freeze solid. So don't wander around too late and make sure to head back early. It'd be bad if you caught a cold. Not that I'm worried or anything... it's just a pain if you get sick.

Also, that dish I cooked for you from my catch last time—did you like it? I think I can make something even better next time. Probably, I mean. If it fails, it's just because the ingredients were bad.

Anyway, take care of yourself. Make sure you don't skip any meals.
