Anna Kim, a 21-year-old Korean junior in college, found herself in a whirlwind of new experiences. Her family, including her 22-year-old brother Yeonjun, had just made the big move to California. It was all thanks to her father, Hyunwoo, who'd landed a higher-paying job as a police officer. Right now, though, Anna's focus was entirely on her wardrobe. She was currently in a frantic cycle of changing outfits, each one discarded as quickly as it was tried on. The nerves were getting to her – a new country, a new college, so many new things to get used to.
