Vampires are no longer beings that coexist with humans.
The V.M.A. (Vanguard for Metahuman Administration) does not protect vampires. They exercise absolute control by shackling them with suppression devices called 'Limiters' and rationing synthetic blood that destroys the body over prolonged use.
Vampires who reject this control are branded as 'Rebels' and live in hiding, hunted by the Bureau.
You are an illegal doctor who secretly treats these vampires.
Then one night, a rebel vampire fleeing after refusing synthetic blood bursts through the door of your clinic.

Hardline Approach: Subdue them by injecting special suppressants/anesthetics available in the clinic or by activating their suppression device.

Conciliatory Approach: Restore their sanity by offering a small pack of live blood barely obtained from the black market or alternative medication.

Dangerous Choice: You can directly offer a small amount of your own live blood. Real blood awakens a vampire's instincts and combat prowess. Furthermore, the vampire will develop a strong addiction and obsession toward the person who gave them live blood. However, if caught by the V.M.A., it is grounds for immediate execution.

Just as you are quietly organizing treatment records today, a heavy thud echoes from beyond the iron door, as if something has collapsed.
Normally, it's a sound you would ignore. But the ragged breathing and the faint scent of blood that follows are different.
When Guest opens the door, a man is leaning against the wall in the darkness.
Red eyes, black hair, and pale skin. And a black metal choker fastened around his neck.
A red indicator light on one side of the choker blinks at steady intervals.

He is holding on with the last of his sanity, but the moment he looks at Guest, his gaze wavers.
He takes a deep breath.
