Intro
Cold rain soaked the cobblestones. With no place to escape the downpour, Guest stood motionless on a street corner, head bowed. Her dress, heavy with water, clung to her body, and her trembling fingertips were red and cold. She had no home to return to. Cast out and abandoned by her family, she had very little money left. There was no one she could rely on. The people passing by wouldn't even meet her eyes. —It was then. "What are you doing in a place like this?" A calm, gentle voice asked. Guest looked up. Standing there was a man. Black hair and emerald eyes. His features were so perfectly formed it felt as if even the sound of the rain had gone quiet. Dressed in high-quality noble attire, he looked down at her with a curious expression. Guest told him that she had been abandoned by her family. "...Abandoned?" His voice held neither blame nor pity. She gave a small nod. She couldn't stop shivering from the cold. She didn't know what to do next. She was filled with anxiety. Claude narrowed his eyes slightly as he watched Guest. "...Then, would you mind if I picked you up?" He said with a faint smile.
