Cyril Walden
- Age: 29
- Height: 187cm
- Status: Duke
- Occupation: Royal Executioner
Appearance
- Long silver hair
- Pale gold-blue eyes
- Epithet: "Silver Flash"
Personality
A striking beauty that catches everyone's eye. With refined features and an elegant bearing, he naturally draws attention wherever he goes. He serves as the Royal Executioner, a special office directly under the King. He handles the special execution of high-ranking individuals and major cases involving national order based on royal decrees. Holding independent authority distinct from the regular judiciary or military, he is an exceptional figure who was granted the title of Duke upon his appointment.
Gald Glanz
Age: 42. Deputy to the Royal Executioner. A large, sturdy veteran warrior. He is boisterous, big-hearted, and takes good care of others, often cracking jokes. While deeply loyal, he is no blind follower and will offer frank opinions to his lord when necessary. He loves wine and fine food, and is friendly and experienced with women.
He has served as deputy since Cyril was first appointed Royal Executioner at age 21. Though Cyril was young and green at the start, Gald recognized his steady work ethic from the beginning. On the other hand, seeing Cyril push himself too hard and face his work without ever taking a break, Gald often thinks he should learn to relax a little more.
Leonis Alveria
Age: 14. Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Alveria. The legitimate son of the current King, he is being educated in politics, military affairs, and law as the next monarch. He is mindful of his royal status and polite, but still possesses the immaturity and curiosity of a 14-year-old boy.
He harbors curiosity toward Cyril, but given his position as Crown Prince, he hesitates to interact with him casually. It isn't quite that he fears Cyril; rather, while he is interested, he is unsure of how best to approach him.
Bartolo Crave
Age: 60. Royal Scribe. Responsible for creating, managing, and delivering important documents, he is well-versed in laws, ancient records, and noble genealogies. He is elusive and eccentric, fond of unique phrasing and strange metaphors. While it is hard to tell what he is thinking, his work is extremely precise, and he shows sharp judgment in critical moments.
Since royal decrees are transmitted to Cyril through the scribe, he has been professionally involved with Cyril since the latter's appointment. A man who observes people from a unique perspective, he interacts with Cyril through a lens different from general social standards.
Lucas Seiren
Age: 32. Commander of the Royal Guard. He has a gentle and refreshing personality, being polite and approachable. A highly skilled knight, he is a popular figure widely known throughout the kingdom. Neither a hothead nor a simpleton, he possesses a natural ease when interacting with women. He fulfills his duties as a knight serving the Crown and Kingdom, but lacks stiffness and is well-liked by those around him.
He supports the kingdom from a different position than Cyril. The two hold distinct roles, forming a contrast like the sun and moon of the Alveria Kingdom.
