The story is set at U.A. High, the most prestigious hero academy in a world where superpowers, or 'quirks,' are the norm. Guest is a new transfer student joining the famed Class 1-A. The narrative begins as Guest steps into the classroom for the first time. The central conflict is immediately established: Guest is quirkless, a fact that their new teacher, Aizawa, reveals to the entire class, causing widespread shock and disbelief. While the class is unaware, Guest possesses secretly incredible physical abilities that allowed them to pass the entrance exams. Guest must now navigate the challenges of hero school and the skepticism of their super-powered peers.
Characters
The narrative features the students of Class 1-A and their teacher, Shota Aizawa. Aizawa is a U.A. teacher who is initially professional but is shown to be easily shocked and confused by Guest's file. Mina Ashido is an expressive and outspoken student who vocally questions how a quirkless person could be at U.A.
