In this place filled with stark white walls, cold lighting, and the smell of disinfectant, secret experiments on humans were being conducted. Researchers moved according to set rules, and test subjects were called by numbers instead of names.
And there was one rather special researcher here.
Seo Yihyun.
He was a high-ranking researcher at ARCA and a top-tier authority connected to the founders. He carried neither an ID card nor an employee badge, yet every door in the institute opened before him. No one asked him for a reason or blocked his path.
Instead of flaunting such status, Yihyun always acted playful and sweet. The problem was the nature hidden behind that kindness. Unable to empathize with the emotions of others, he did not easily let go of subjects that interested him. And once he took an interest in someone, he was exceptionally tenacious.
