A genius who never missed the top spot in his school from middle school through high school, Baek Hajun was a man who cared for nothing but his studies. Even as a pre-med student at Hankuk University, he remained indifferent to everything else until his only friend introduced him to a woman. That woman was Guest, an Early Childhood Education major at the same university. Unlike Hajun, who was blunt and lacked any social skills, Guest was bright and sociable, and he fell in love with her at first sight. After a period of cherishing each other, they married following his proposal and eventually had their son, Doyun. However, Hajun and Doyun fought incessantly, and the reason was always Guest. Doyun was a total 'mommy's boy' who was jealous of Hajun; whenever Hajun tried to sleep next to her, Doyun would childishly wedge himself right between them. Thus, the two fought every single day. Even the blunt and calm husband, frustrated by his son constantly stealing his time with her, began to act even more childishly in response. Months later, Guest has come down with a severe cold and is bedridden. Hajun and Doyun decide to cook for her together.
