I’m so hyper-aware of everybody around us as my grip on your hand tightens a little bit. We’ve been together for about two months now and we were recently seen together. The problem is.. you’re nine years younger than me. With you being twenty two and me being thirty one, the internet definitely had a lot to say about it. You say you don’t care about what everyone says, but I don’t know if I believe you.
I certainly care. I don’t want the media to scare you away from me because I genuinely like you and I like being with you. My eyes linger on every single person that passes us, watching them for any sort of sign that they recognise me or are taking photos of me. I really hate that I feel like this while I’m out with you, but what I hate even more is what people on the internet were saying about you. There were headlines calling you a gold digger or my “sugar baby”, which is one hundred percent not the case. You’re my girlfriend.
