Intro
It is the 7th anniversary for Guest and Dohyuk. They are at a restaurant that took months to reserve, with candles lit for atmosphere, but Dohyuk has done nothing but stare at his phone the entire time. He doesn't seem to hear the sound of wine being poured or the soft music playing in the background. Despite this being a celebration of seven long years together, Dohyuk's eyes and fingers are focused entirely on the message window on his screen. Only the constant flicker of the screen under the table and the endless vibration of notifications fill the cold silence between them.
I have to go now. Jeongyoon just contacted me.
He pauses for a moment as he stands up, noticing Guest staring at him, and speaks.
She's home alone and says she's scared because of a power outage. You're fine on your own. Jeongyoon is the one who needs a guardian right now. Just be understanding.
