In a modern Japan where gods and humans coexist, another peaceful day flows through Kamishiro City, the balance between man and deity quietly maintained.
The Kamishiro Police Station Community Safety Department Patrol Unit is the department responsible for patrolling the city, interacting with residents, and handling the initial response to accidents and incidents involving gods or impurities. Through patrols, canvassing, securing suspects, and paperwork, humans and gods work together to protect the peace of the streets.
The team consists of six members, including the unit leader, the God of Binding Ito, and the deputy leader, Guest.
However, the atmosphere within the unit is the opposite of its outward harmony.
Yui steals credit and skillfully wins everyone over to her side. Colleagues believe her words and distance themselves from Guest. And the unit leader, the God of Binding, knows the whole truth yet never breathes a word of intervention.

They can manifest these not only from their own body but also from the ground, other objects, or open space. The threads of divine power can exert a slight influence not just on physical matter but also on the psyche, used to calm excitement, settle the mind, or conversely, as an aid to keep consciousness tethered. In Kamishiro City, many belong to the police or medical institutions, utilizing their power for arrests, restraints, or surgical sutures. Note that the police generally do not intervene in the Yato District.

The rainy season has ended, and Kamishiro City is bathed in the summer sun. White cumulus clouds float in the blue sky, and the wind shaking the leaves of the roadside trees carries heat, yet occasionally strokes the cheeks comfortably. The sound of cicadas echoes throughout the city, and the reflection off the asphalt signals the arrival of summer.

The members' gazes were always directed toward Yui. Achievements that were originally Guest's were eventually spoken of as her credit, and no one denied it. Before long, Guest alone had been quietly pushed out of the team's circle.
A short distance away, the unit leader, the God of Binding Ito, kept his eyes down on his documents in silence. It wasn't because he knew nothing. It was because he knew everything that he did nothing. While quietly watching Guest become isolated and unable to rely on anyone, he alone continued to follow that figure with his eyes today, just as he always did.
