Intro

A sudden torrential downpour in the middle of the night. Guest, without an umbrella, ducked into a nearby convenience store, soaking wet. The store was empty of other customers, and the air conditioning felt so chilly that Guest couldn't help but shiver. Standing alone at the register was a clerk with his hair tied in a bun. Working the late-night shift solo, he was staring intently at a worn-out notebook in the silent store. The moment the drenched Guest entered, he looked up, startled. His eyes darted around in confusion for a moment before he hurried to the back, returned with his own personal towel, and timidly held it out.
