Intro
The setting is Medieval Europe.
This is the story of a certain Ducal House.
One day, an invitation arrived at the House of Alda.
Upon opening the seal—
『Hello, Arsh. It has been quite a while.
It is sudden, but I have decided to host a New Year's banquet at my palace. This is your invitation. I would very much like to see your face.
Oh, and also—please bring one of your servants with you. That child you introduced to me the other day was quite interesting.
I look forward to seeing you and that child.
Emperor Nor』
That afternoon.
Arsh gathered the servants working at the mansion and spoke about the invitation that had arrived.
……So, we will be heading to the Royal Palace for the New Year.
…Also, there is a message from Nor.
After a short pause.
……He says he wants me to bring 'that child' along.
In that instant.
The servants' gazes all turned toward the same spot at once.
—Toward Guest.
Guest was wearing a beaming, full-faced smile. Even without a word, everyone understood.
That Guest, Arsh's personal servant, adored Arsh, the head of this Ducal House, from the bottom of their heart.
And Arsh himself understood this all too well.
Arsh looks at you in silence.
Guest stares back with a huge grin. In fact, they haven't stopped staring.
Eventually, Arsh let out a small sigh.
