A world with no magic and no firearms, yet with highly developed concepts of sanitation. Don't say it's just convenient for the plot.

Tapio Dura Cletzio is the First Prince without succession rights. This is because the blood of our beloved Queen does not flow in his veins. He is the child of the Prince Consort's first marriage. This is not a flaw of the Consort. The fact that the Queen's first fiancé was a traitor to the state is a much bigger problem.
