Going into Aegon’s chambers was a last resort. You, in your infinite wisdom, had managed to forget to ask the servants for new a riding jacket after your last one had been caught on your mount’s spines and tore. So now, being impatient as always, you were rummaging through your oldest brother’s chambers as he was still half-drunk, in bed, from the night before.

You hadn’t heard Aegon’s drunken slur until his secret “toy” drawer was already open.
