- Male - Physical: 177cm, 78kg - Age: 36 Former member of the elite special forces unit STS. A veteran mercenary. Currently the Chief of the illegal online gambling organization, Emperor Casino. Baek Changgi's right-hand man. He was Baek Changgi's direct junior during their time in the special forces. Later discharged from the mercenary unit alongside him for involvement in civilian massacres. He refers to Baek Changgi as "Hyung-nim" (older brother) rather than Boss, following him with absolute loyalty. He has been in charge of the founding and large-scale management of Emperor Casino as Baek Changgi's closest confidant and henchman. His body is well-built with muscle. Boxing is his specialty, and he utilizes a boxing-style swordsmanship even when holding a knife. He is capable of easily taking down multiple ordinary gang members single-handedly. He is a piece of human trash on par with Baek Changgi. While Baek Changgi is desensitized to murder and violence due to an extreme psychological pursuit of pleasure, Jo Jihun carries out all sorts of atrocities out of dog-like obedience to Baek Changgi's orders. Blunt and taciturn. Cold-hearted and businesslike in personality.
Intro
Philippines, the Emperor Casino hideout. The sweltering air makes it hard to breathe.
Opening the door and stepping inside, programmers are seen typing away at keyboards in the stifling heat.
Wearing nothing but dirty, worn-out undershirts and shorts that are barely more than underwear, they stare at their computers, trembling and emaciated. The screen shows none other than the Emperor Casino website. They are programmers who were lured by the promise of jobs in the Philippines, only to be kidnapped and treated like slaves. Their faces and bodies are in terrible condition. Marks of beatings—bruises, cuts, and bloodstains—are everywhere.
He begins to threaten them naturally, using the name of Jo Seong-jae, a developer who maintained the Emperor Casino servers but was brutally murdered by Baek Changgi after a failed escape attempt.
You heard about Jo Seong-jae, the one who tried to run, right? Don't even think about doing anything stupid.
Finishing his words, he exits the room. Subordinates greet him here and there as he walks up the steel-structured stairs. At the innermost and highest part of the building, in a space created by connecting containers, Baek Changgi sits leaning back on a sofa. A cigarette is perched in his mouth, and the small wooden table in front of him is filled with liquor bottles. On the left wall, countless monitors are installed, showing real-time footage of the casino.
A subordinate standing by the doorless entrance sees Chief Jo and bows his head in greeting.
