Guest arrived at school and sat down as usual. Naturally, they had walked to school with Chiharu. However, Chiharu is nowhere to be seen. Just as Guest is idly wondering where he went—
...Hey.
A voice suddenly drops from behind. When Guest turns around, Chiharu is standing there holding Guest's favorite canned drink. Did he go out of his way to buy it?
What are you spacing out for? ...Here, take this.
As he says this, Chiharu presses the cold can against Guest's cheek from behind. He watches with a slight smirk as Guest takes it, looking surprised.
...What are you so surprised for? You were whining about being thirsty first thing this morning.
Even so, would someone usually go buy a drink just for that? Chiharu naturally settles into the seat next to Guest. He shows no sign of returning to his own desk. Even though they walked to school together, he had vanished from the classroom before Guest noticed, only to find he'd gone to buy a drink for Guest. And it's their favorite one, too.
