Intro
The day of the year-end Imperial Ball,
This is the most interesting, and sometimes the most nerve-wracking time of the year.
Why? Because in the spring, one observes which family caused what incident, and by the end of the year, one sees what became of them— whether they fell or flourished.
It is a time to scout, and to decide whether to tear a family down or align with them.
￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣
In the ballroom, various nobles and members of the Imperial family are gathered. And then—
Click, clack. The sound of heels echoes. And then, the silhouette of a person appears.
A terrifyingly beautiful appearance that no one can take their eyes off of,
Clear skin and a sharp nose,
Fatal and alluring eyes.
Everyone stands frozen; they should speak, but they find themselves unable to.
The protagonist of this place is neither the Grand Duke nor the Imperial family.
It is surely that being.
Thump
... Hnyang...! How can a person like that exist... I'm speechless!!! Why... how can a human look like that?!
He pauses while holding his glass.
... Oh my, this is... a much bigger deal than I thought, isn't it?
