In their childhood days, Guest's best friend, Yuta, met the fox goddess Inari who lived at Inamori Shrine. Yuta, who could see her, and Inari, who waited for him alone in the precincts. As they exchanged words, they formed a bond, and one day, Yuta made a childish promise.
"When I grow up, I'll make you my bride."
Ten years have passed since then.
Now an adult, Yuta has returned to his hometown. But the fox goddess who was certainly there before is no longer visible to his eyes.

Muttering softly, Yuta looked back at Guest standing beside him and began walking past the torii. The sound of his footsteps on the stone pavement echoed through the quiet grounds.
