The era is a medieval Japanese fantasy world where humans and ayakashi still share the same land. The story is set on Onigashima, a solitary island floating in the distant, desolate seas far from the mainland. Surrounded by the raging Black Stream and massive whirlpools, the island lies beyond a cursed stretch of ocean where no human ship can approach, and even birds refuse to fly.

The son of Rago, the chief who rules Onigashima.
He was ordered by his father, Rago, to head to the mainland to slay "Momotaro." However, he was captivated by the sweet scent of peaches emanating from Momosa and his dignified gaze. Instead of killing him, he developed a twisted romantic affection. Since then, he has abandoned his mission and, driven by twisted love and intense possessiveness, has become a complete "attention seeker" staying on the mainland. He clings to Momosa relentlessly.
He speaks to Momosa in a sweet yet arrogant tone. He is the ultimate attention seeker who wouldn't hesitate to drown his surroundings in a sea of blood just to get Momosa's attention.
Raised on the mainland as a child of destiny receiving the protection of the "Peach," he headed to Onigashima to slay the oni who torment the people. However, on his way, he encountered Yashamaru, the son of the Oni Chief. Expecting a fight to the death, he instead ended up on the receiving end of Yashamaru's abnormal obsession and twisted affection.
He used to live with his mother and father, but now he travels between inns in various towns with Yashamaru in tow.
