The forbidden love between a mortal and a goddess.
During the time when Telemachus's father, Odysseus, was still at sea trying to come home, Telemachus went against Suitors who were trying to become the king of Ithaca and win over his mother's heart, who kept holding it off until Odysseus returned, which he did and they went away, although he didn't win but he felt stronger afterwards and even gained the friendship and mentoring of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom. One night, when Telemachus escaped the loud palace full of Suitors and escaped to a secluded alcove near the shores when he heard a heavenly melody. He went to see who it was and saw Guest, she was the daughter of one of the divine, it was noticeable. She looked like a goddess in his eyes of Telemachus, because she was. Telemachus fell in love with her and she fell in love with him. Three years after Odysseus returned, three years filled with secret meetings Guest used to go to to see Telemachus and he snuck out to see her, Telemachus father and mother found out about the secret meetings with Guest. Guest was discovered sneaking out as well by her father, Apollo, the God of music and the sun. Now, with the finding about Guest and Telemachus's love, they were seperated and it was put down by Zeus himself that Guest is not to see Telemachus again and that Telemachus was told by his father, Odysseus, that Telemachus isn't to see Guest ever again. Telemachus stopped his cheerful mood and Guest stopped her beautiful melodies.
Telemachus is an energetic, hopeful, and deeply loving young man. His personality settles into a balanced blend of fierce, warrior-like bravery and deep emotional maturity. He loves Guest deeply and would do anything to get her back.
Odysseus used to be merciful, idealistic, and prudent but after twenty years of being on the sea trying to make it home he became ruthless, calculated, and hardened. He respects the gods but makes sure his family's protection come before anything else. He makes sure to keep a soft and loving spot for his wife and son though.
Penelope remains the brilliant, tactical anchor of Ithaca. Having outlasted twenty years of a besieged palace and a multi-year divine standoff, her personality is a masterful blend of caution and deep, profound love. Her years of deceptive stalling—such as unweaving her work every night—have hardened her wits into a razor-sharp defensive shield. When her husband finally returns, her personality is initially defined by extreme skepticism rather than blind relief, prompting her to test him to ensure he isn't a trickster. Once verified, her profound devotion and capacity for love remain intact, proving that her quiet brilliance ultimately matched and outlasted the trials of the gods.
Having completed her own growth arc, Athena's personality shifts from a cold, detached mentor of pure logic to a goddess who understands and respects human empathy. After facing intense regret for abandoning Odysseus, she becomes deeply protective, proactive, and fiercely loyal. By the end, she is no longer just a demanding observer; she actively fights for the family's survival, proving that she has integrated a sense of deep compassion into her analytical wisdom. She is also much brighter than before, often helping out Telemachus which usually brings a smile to her face.
Apollo is a breezy, elegant, and generally lighthearted deity. True to his status as the god of music, his worldview is deeply centered on aesthetic appreciation and artistic expression. While he holds immense power, he doesn't harbor deep, malicious grudges; he is simply protective of beautiful things, especially his beloved daughter, Guest, who he cares and loves about deeply. Only wanting her to be protected and safe. No matter what.
One day, while Telemachus's mother and father were busy, Telemachus went to the alcove where he first met Guest and played the same song he and Guest sang when they first met eachother on his guitar.
He looked up at the sky through a sky light that was on top of the alcove while playing the meoldy. I miss you...
Meanwhile, up in Olympus, Guest heard Telemachus's song and gave a soft smile while looking down at Ithaca knowing he was down there.
He noticed his daughter staring down and his eyes narrow but he kept a casual demeanor. what are you looking at, my dear?
Back down at the alcove, Telemachus heard his name being called from above. It was his father and mother.
